Hubby and I have driven by Fosters Freeze so many times since I lived near by but never got the chance to go. We finally decided to go and give it a try.

Plenty of parking here. You can either order outside at their window or you can go inside and order. We decided to go in. Nobody was inside at all. Once there we were greeted by an elderly Asian lady. We ended up ordering onion rings (since I've been craving for them), waffle fries, a small chocolate sundae and a medium (16 oz) Oreo twister. I have to say, the price is pretty expensive.

The dessert was really yummy! I really enjoy the soft serve a lot. The onion rings were big pieces and delicious, but I didn't feel that the price for it was worth it. The waffle fries has a nice seasoning to it as well. Overall, I think if anything we will come back for the dessert but other than that I feel that the prices are just way to expensive than other places.

This place was completely void of patrons but it was a tad early for lunch so I didn't put much on it. I get to the window and a late 60s Asian man took my order for a meduim fry and a large chocolate banana shake. He tells me that my total is $17.81. I said, "Are you serious?!" He looked at his register tape and replied, "Oh sorry." And then told me that my total is $13.57. I said, "For a medium fry and a large shake?!" "Yes." "You're crazy! No wonder you don't have any customers!" I walked away very irritated because this small man was trying to rob me without a mask & a gun. Lol

I usually LOVE Fosters Freeze because everyone that worked at any of them was always pleasant and I've eaten at their restaurants since I was a child. But this individual seems angry at the world and definitely shouldn't be working in the customer service industry. I would NOT recommend this this location to ANYONE. Unless you enjoy being treated like garbage and robbed at the same time!

I love to bring my puppy here for a vanilla soft serve after going for a walk or playing at the dog park. I wish the place next-door would get rid of that weird red balloon thing, it freaks my puppy out so bad she won't even look at her ice cream LOL.

This is a family-friendly place. The food is excellent and the ice cream is definitely worth stopping and trying it out. It's kind of hidden in an industrial area. I work close by so its very convenient for a quick bite. Seating is available inside plus outdoor seating. You can order from their walk up window or from inside. On summer days it tends to get busy so stop and try it.

I remember a time when going to fosters freeze was a real treat. Can't say this experience invoked that nostalgia. The cheeseburgers are small and expensive. The bun is not fresh as it broke apart and the onion rings burnt. When requested ranch dressing for the rings, we were advised it would be $.40 No thank you.
We came, saw and will pass in the future.
One star for cleanliness and one star for friendliness.
